HAPPY CUSTOMERS!
When Ted Schrader walked into Sedona Green, he couldn't resist purchasing my lizard painting. Now it keeps him company in his bedroom in Springville, Utah. Floridian Benni Heacock bought this placemat painting from Sedona Trading Post because, as she says, "It matches the decore in my sunroom perfectly!"
Robin McClure, of Beverly Hills, chose this tasseled rug from Sedona Trading Post.
But my very best customer is Village of Oak Creek resident Jim Frank. Having already commissioned me to do two accent-appropriate paintings, here he is with his third:
A Cornucopia of Customers
A cornucopia? Really? Not quite. But my fans are growing. The art reception at the Sedona Public Library was a lot of fun. And a respectable number of people showed up, despite my assumption that nobody would. One lady, a well-known artist in Sedona whose father was Secretary of State under President Dwight D. Eisenhower, bought the two kitty paintings. So sales are building.... To prove it, here are some photos. (Getting these customers to send jpegs of themselves and their purchases is more of a challenge than getting them to buy my art!)
Although the paintings I create on Hardie Board don't require framing, I was delighted to see how lovely "Horsey 1" looks housed in a silver stall.
Now for the bad news. (Or good news, depending on your point of view!)
I'm leaving for Santa Monica, California for the next two months and don't plan to do anything but soak up the sunshine, salt air and those cool sea breezes. So your emailboxes will remain Jill-less during that time. I thank all of you who have been so consistent about adding your comments. In this brave new world of cyber-communication, it feels good to know that somebody out there is actually reading what I write!
Have a wonderful summer and let me know what you are up to?
- Years ago an artist friend of mine did portraits for breeders of thoroughbreds. Some were winners, favorites, or deceased horses that the owners grew fond of. My friend made a handsome living at it si...

By Carl - It looks like something might be glued in the center of the two "stars" in the Quail painting. Is that the "Trick"? Interesting how you'll have to sell "off grounds". What the heck, a sale is a sale. ...

You are quite a talented lady juggling all your creative talents at once. I try to do that but not great at it some days.
