HAPPY CUSTOMERS!
When Ted Schrader walked into Sedona Green, he couldn't resist purchasing my lizard painting. Now it keeps him company in his bedroom in Springville, Utah. Floridian Benni Heacock bought this placemat painting from Sedona Trading Post because, as she says, "It matches the decore in my sunroom perfectly!"
Robin McClure, of Beverly Hills, chose this tasseled rug from Sedona Trading Post.
But my very best customer is Village of Oak Creek resident Jim Frank. Having already commissioned me to do two accent-appropriate paintings, here he is with his third:
Lazy Jilly!
Sorry to be remiss on my blog entries. It's not so much a matter of laziness as it is being busy. ("A three legged dog in a butcher's shop?") Giving a talk on Jung and love addiction in Tucson...flying to Santa Monica, California to promote my book....finding a place to rent by the ocean this summer... But in between these gigs, I've been painting more "pairs" -- preparing for my art show in May at the library. You've already seen some of these duos (i.e. birds, lizards, frogs, quatrefoils) but how about a pair of horsies?
Shoelaces?
Arrows?
I've also done a new piece with a geometric diamond as its focus. But I can't decide which of these other two diamond-featured paintings to pair it with. Can you?
- "Someone turned the heat on." That's you Jill. Your ferventness makes you HOT. Good luck on your new gig.

By Carl - It looks like something might be glued in the center of the two "stars" in the Quail painting. Is that the "Trick"? Interesting how you'll have to sell "off grounds". What the heck, a sale is a sale. ...

By TIMOTEO - Great location to show your art! Compared to East Coast humidity Tucson is downright comfortable in the summer. AC does help!

03.31.13 15:12
By Anne Batterson - Hi Jillybean! The tile replica is really, really nice. Hopefully I'll get back to some painting this year. I'll have to knock a lot of rust off my pastels!

By Bob - You paint as well as you write.

01.06.13 08:11
